Please introduce yourself: Who you are, your age, where you are from, and what you do for a living?
Hi, I’m Raneem Habib from Karachi, Pakistan. I recently turned 24, and I trade full-time for a living.
How did you get introduced or start trading?
I first learned about online earnings and Bitcoin from Waqar Zaka back in 2012-2013 when I was around 12-13 years old. I used to search online and on YouTube for ways to earn money online and in dollars, which eventually led me to discover forex trading.
Do you have any hobbies and what do you enjoy outside of trading? Do you find that these hobbies benefit your trading? Please elaborate.
To be honest, I dedicate most of my time to trading. After becoming somewhat profitable, I spend my free time backtesting. However, once I achieve my financial goals, I plan to explore other hobbies and do more for myself.
What is your trading routine?
My trading routine involves backtesting throughout the night and waking up for the London session. However, I primarily trade the New York session due to its volume and liquidity.
What are your goals with funded trading?
My main goal is to achieve financial stability and independence.
Do you have a trading plan in place, and do you strictly follow it? Please elaborate.
Yes, I adhere strictly to my trading rules. I maintain a 1:1 risk-to-reward ratio and never risk more than 1% per trade. I set fixed stop-loss and take-profit levels and stick to them for the entire month. If I decide to trade Fair Value Gaps (FVG), I exclusively trade FVG, and if I choose to follow Order Blocks (OB), I only trade OB for that period.
How would you describe your trading style?
My trading style is very conservative. I do not allow myself to go into a drawdown of more than 4%. Maintaining this limit ensures my trading remains safe and secure.
What was the most challenging obstacle in your trading journey?
The most challenging obstacle was spending money on courses from fake gurus, which resulted in significant financial loss.
What did you find easier, the FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge or Verification phase? Share your thoughts.
The Verification phase was easier for me compared to the Challenge phase, which took me around 7-8 months to pass.
How would you rate your experience with FUNDING FRONTIER?
I would rate my experience with Funding Frontier 100 out of 100.
What advice would you give to other traders attempting the FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge?
Create your own rules and strategy for trading. Don’t compare yourself to others. If Raja Banks, who is also Pakistani and once struggled can succeed, so can you. Just never give up.
Do you plan to take another FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge to manage even bigger capital?
InshaAllah, soon. I am planning to go for a $100k account and then a $200k account.
Describe your best trade.
I don’t think I have any standout trades. For me, every trade I make is important and follows my strategy.
What is the number one piece of advice you would give to a new trader?
Never give up on forex trading. It offers immense freedom. Keep working diligently and surround yourself with people who share your interests.
How did you first hear about FUNDING FRONTIER?
I’ve been following Kashif for more than three years, and I learned about Funding Frontier from him.
Can you describe your risk management plan?
It’s simple: I never take more than two trades a day and never risk more than 1% per trade.
