Meet Alade Sheun Daniel, a Funded Trader with Funding Frontier. Discover how Alade and other traders secured funding and gain valuable insights and tips to help you on your own trading journey.
Please introduce yourself. Who are you, your age, where you are from, and what do you do for a living?
I’m Alade Sheun Daniel, 24 years old, and I’m from Nigeria. I trade full-time for a living.
How did you get introduced to trading?
Back in 2017, I was exploring ways to make money online and came across the financial markets. That curiosity sparked my interest in trading, and I’ve been learning and growing ever since.
Do you have any hobbies? What do you enjoy outside of trading, and do these activities benefit your trading?
Gaming is my main hobby. As a trader, I have the flexibility and freedom to enjoy gaming on a serious level.
What is your trading routine?
I typically execute trades during the Asian session. Once I’m in a position, I monitor and manage the trade throughout the rest of the day.
What are your goals with funded trading?
My primary goal is to generate consistent profits and scale up capital over time.
Do you have a trading plan in place, and do you strictly follow it?
Yes, I do. I’ve developed a solid trading plan over time, and I follow it strategically. Sticking to my plan is key to staying consistent.
How would you describe your trading style?
My trading style is discretionary and manual, built on technical analysis and personal experience. I rely heavily on reading the charts, recognising patterns, and reacting to price action in real time.
What was the most challenging obstacle in your trading journey?
Handling uncertainty was my biggest challenge. Learning to accept that not every trade will be perfect and embracing the randomness of the markets took time.
What did you find easier—the FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge or the Verification Phase?
Phase 2, the Verification Phase, felt easier for me because of the lower profit target.
How would you rate your experience with FUNDING FRONTIER?
It’s been a great experience overall. The service is solid, everything works smoothly, and I appreciate the professionalism of the team.
What advice would you give to other traders attempting the FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge?
Make sure you have a real edge in the market before taking the challenge. This is not gambling, treat it seriously, and come in prepared with a plan and proper risk management.
Do you plan to take another FUNDING FRONTIER Challenge to manage more capital?
I plan to continue growing and scaling my accounts through Funding Frontier.
Describe your best trade.
I don’t really focus on individual trades. I believe in consistency over time, not putting too much weight on any single trade.
What is the number one piece of advice you’d give to a new trader?
Test relentlessly until you find your edge. Don’t rush the process, focus on learning, improving, and staying patient.
How did you first hear about FUNDING FRONTIER?
I came across Funding Frontier on Prop Firm Match.
Can you describe your risk management plan?
I typically risk around 1% per trade. I believe in keeping my risk tight while aiming for solid reward-to-risk setups.
